Earth Hour

Last night at work Jenn and I participated in Earth Hour by switching off many of the lights inside the Inn we work at between 8:30pm and 9:30pm. Unfortunately we couldn't go competely dark at work to show our support, wouldn't want guests falling all over the place. But hopefully you were in the dark where ever you were.

Last year 50 million people switched off their lights for one hour. This year the goal was 1 billion. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Rome's Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Time Square all stood in darkness in support. To see some great pictures of earth in the dark check out this site.
